My story
Rediscovering My Passion for Art
As a little girl, drawing and painting were my favorite pastimes. I fondly remember the days spent with my classmate, creating intricate dresses for imaginary princesses, each vying to outdo the other with the most beautiful designs. Back then, I never imagined becoming a professional artist.

Life took its course, and I found myself immersed in the responsibilities of adulthood. University, marriage, motherhood, and a full-time job in telecommunications left little room for the creative pursuits I once cherished. Lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I began to forget the simple joys that once brought me so much happiness.

It wasn't until I found myself trapped in unhappy relationships, feeling lost and disconnected from myself, that I stumbled upon art once again. Through a stroke of luck—or perhaps fate—I met Alyona Serhii, my art teacher, and soon-to-be dear friend. In her studio, I found healing and renewed purpose through watercolor.

With each brushstroke, I delved deeper into my soul, uncovering layers of strength and resilience I never knew I possessed. Guided by the gentle flow of watercolors, I began to see the beauty in myself and the world around me anew. In the midst of chaos, art became my refuge, a source of solace and inspiration.

My challenges
Finding my creative voice
Throughout more than a decade of exploration, I delved into various mediums, styles, and techniques, attending numerous courses, and following online trainings in search of my artistic identity.
However, I discovered that merely replicating the teachings of others did not lead me to a true understanding of my own style.
Frustrated by the lack of personal connection in my work, I made a pivotal decision to break away from the influence of external sources.
Enjoying simplicity
Embracing Black and White
Turning my focus solely to black and white works, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and introspection.
Freed from the constraints of color, I found a newfound clarity and authenticity in my art. This shift allowed me to strip away distractions and focus on the fundamental elements of composition, form, and expression.
With each stroke of the pencil, I began to uncover my unique artistic voice, one that resonated deeply with my innermost self.
From Replication to Creation
Cultivating a Distinct Style
By stepping away from the allure of imitation and embracing the simplicity of black and white, I found liberation in self-expression.
No longer bound by the expectations of others, I was able to cultivate a style that was distinctly mine.
Through trial and error, experimentation, and introspection, I gradually honed my craft, shaping my own artistic path.
Today, I continue to explore and evolve, guided by the unwavering desire to create work that is true to myself.

It has been a process of unlearning and relearning, of letting go of preconceived notions and embracing the unknown.
